The One Dollar Slot Method

One YouTuber found success by publicizing a “one dollar method” whereby she got a $250 spin for only $1. Uhhh….

Does it work?

Yes. BUT (and that’s a big but), you may have to burn through hundreds of dollars to get it and there’s no guarantee that the resulting spin will pay anything. If you enjoy spending more money than you’ll ever win, by all means try the one dollar slot method.

One slot influencers tried this using $20 bills to win a $250 spin. He spent $1,400 and won $190—a very sad 0.13% return.

The “Lucky Chance” spin appears on many slot machines when the remaining credits on the machine are less than your last bet. If you have more than 60% of the price of a spin, then you’re likely get it. If you only have 20% or less of your bet, it’s far less likely.

Why did we reject it?

While the method is valid, the chances of you winning the discounted spin are extremely low and the chance of a win on that spin is the same as playing the regular game.

Should you try it?

No.  Save your dollar.

While we regularly opt for the “lucky chance spin” on slots, the odds of getting a bonus or line hit are THE SAME as any other spin. If you’ve already burned through your money to see the lucky chance spin screen, you might want to consider cutting your losses. A dollar saved…
